This is my Border Terrier, Archie.
He loves being out and about on walks and is a keen Munro Bagger and scrounger of food. He's a friendly wee chap, he loves people and gets on well with other dogs. As you can see he's also quite a poser.
Hi, thanks for taking time to visit my website.
My name is Steve Flett and I have lived in Peterculter, on the outskirts of Aberdeen for the past 20 years. I previously worked at John Lewis in Aberdeen for 23 years until the branch's unfortunate closure in August 2021. I was concerned for my future and wondering what on earth I was going to do next when an idea came to mind whilst I was out with my dog, Archie. We had passed a van belonging to a local dog walker when I suddenly had a light bulb moment " I could do that ".
I've been around dogs for most of my life and have spent the better part of 30 years hill walking and trekking around Scotland in all weathers.
After hours of online research and having everyone I mentioned my plan to, telling me it was a great idea, I decided to go for it and set up my own dog walking business.
I opted to keep the name of my business nice and simple: I'm Steve, I walk dogs - Steve Walks Dogs.
I received my Canine First Aid Training from Canine Principles, I am also studying for a CPD accredited Diploma in Dog Walking, Boarding and Care as well as an OFQUAL level 3 award in Canine Care, Welfare and Behaviuor.
